Get regular feedback from team members across all levels and areas of the business. The needs that come with different levels of experience, workloads, and specialties are genuinely different, and a good culture accounts for that.
Encourage leaders to lead with care first. The attitude at the top flows all the way down. A flexible, understanding, and compassionate leadership style creates team members who treat each other with the same respect they receive, and that compounds over time.
Do not let culture events become a tickbox exercise. Any event that gets people communicating, problem solving, and socialising outside of actual work will build the kind of relationships that make them better teammates when it counts.
