Top Agencies Setting the Culture Standard in Early 2026

Agency culture doesn't get talked about the same way corporate culture does. The hours are different. The pace is different. The pressure is different. And the reasons people stay, or leave, are different too.

Agency Workplaces was created to recognize that distinction. We're a culture recognition program built specifically for agencies and the people at the heart of them. Our work is rooted in a simple belief: the agencies that invest in their people deserve to be known for it. And the people considering where to build their careers deserve to know which agencies will pour into them and their growth.

Twice a year, we name the top agencies that have invested in their culture. Every agency on this list went through our unbiased, rigorous culture survey process: their team members responded anonymously, and the results were evaluated independently. Recognition isn't self-reported by leadership. It isn't based on revenue, headcount, or how well-known an agency is. It's based entirely on what the people working there actually believe. Some agencies believe they have a strong culture, but the following have proved it with their data.

The first half of 2026 brought a strong and genuinely global cohort. Agencies from across America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond. Different specialties, different sizes, different markets. But they all share one commonality: their commitment to their team, and in turn, their team’s commitment to them.

No rankings. No tiers. If they’re on this list, their team puts them there.

Agency Spotlight

Officer & Gentleman

An independent agency from Madrid that has spent a decade making advertising for people who, as they put it, hate advertising. Award-winning campaigns for Nike, Netflix, Booking.com, and others. Staying small and independent wasn't an accident. It was a choice that shapes how the team works and who they work with.

Starfish

Starfish is a Brand and Creative Intelligence™ agency. Born from the conviction that a brand is the sum of all its experiences. Starfish has held onto the idea that great creative work and genuine client relationships aren't in conflict; they reinforce each other. That philosophy tends to show up in the culture, too.

Farrynheight

Based in Miami, Farrynheight sits at an interesting intersection. Part integrated agency, part embedded creative team. They work with brands at every stage, from Walmart and Coca-Cola to emerging companies, specializing in brand, social, influencer, and creative. Their bet is that the future of marketing belongs to teams that are strategic, nimble, and built to move fast without losing quality.

Echo Storytelling Agency

Since 1999, Echo has been helping companies and their leaders tell better stories. Through books, films, digital content, and live training. Small but tenured, based in Vancouver, they operate on three values: Creative Rigour, Unconventional Caring, and Positive Pursuit. For an agency that teaches storytelling, it's fitting that their own story reads like one worth telling.

Dankie Comunicação

Dankie works at the intersection of brand, culture, and purpose, specifically, the gap between what a company says it stands for and what it actually lives internally. Based in São Paulo, they're a small agency with a precise mission.

One team member captured why this kind of work matters:

"It's good to see this space open for feedback and internal dialogue."

11:11 The Challenger Company

Born in 2020 out of a conviction that creativity had become too much of a commodity, 11:11 exists for clients who want to challenge the status quo rather than settle into it. Medium-sized and based in São Paulo, they've built a team that takes bold positioning seriously.

Chatterkick

Women-led and social-first, Chatterkick helps mid-market brands build real human connections through strategic social, content, and digital marketing. Their team works remotely across the US and internationally: small enough to stay close-knit, distributed enough to bring diverse perspectives.

Working Planet Marketing Group

Working Planet has been in the business of paid media since 2003, focused on one thing: putting the math behind marketing so clients know exactly where and why to invest. Small team, long track record. The kind of agency where institutional knowledge actually compounds over time.

Splendor

A full-service marketing agency operating across Brazil, the US, and Portugal, Splendor cares as much about how work gets made as the results it delivers.

One team member put it simply:

"The survey created a genuine reflection. I feel a lot of gratitude to work at Splendor."

That kind of voluntary, unprompted sentiment is hard to manufacture, and exactly what recognition is built on.

Beyond Blue Media

Founded on the belief that marketing works best when it's rooted in real relationships and transparent communication, Beyond Blue Media is a full-service agency in Fort Collins offering SEO, paid media, brand, content, and video. Their team operates with four shared values: curiosity, ownership, gratitude, and a drive toward excellence.

Sparo Marketing LLC

A performance-driven agency in Fort Lauderdale built for people who want to grow fast and be proud of what they ship. They work across nonprofit, fintech, beauty, fashion, CPG, and hospitality.

One team member said it well:

"Creating space for anonymous feedback is valuable because it helps organizations better understand employee experiences and identify opportunities for continued growth."

DigiChefz

A medium-sized digital marketing agency offering full-suite services including AI, based in Mumbai. DigiChefz represents a growing cohort of agencies in South Asia building teams and cultures that can compete and retain on a global scale. Recognition here reflects what their employees said, not what their marketing says.

Wikimotive

Wikimotive specializes in digital marketing for the automotive industry: SEO, paid media, and data-driven strategy for dealerships who want visibility that actually converts. Based in Peterborough and focused on transparency and accountability.

A leader on their team offered this unprompted:

"People who work for the company don't leave because they dislike it. Some have left to pursue other passions and returned after realizing how great the company actually is."

The Redwolf Company

A digital-first, full-service agency based in Lagos with a strong foundation in design thinking and storytelling. The Redwolf Company serves as a 360 marketing communications partner, combining creativity and digital innovation across a medium-sized team. Their recognition adds to a growing presence of African agencies on the AWA list; a signal worth paying attention to.

GJ COMUNICACIONES

With over 30 years in the market, GJ Comunicaciones is a communications and PR agency in Bogotá known for its standards of honesty and transparency. They've built long-term client relationships through consistent, strategic work.

One team member wrote:

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities, to be recognized, and to value the role I have every day."

Thirty years of operation. Feedback like that. Some things don't need much added.
